2010: Boyf && Fam | Not Yet School-Ready

something cute from off the web

Yesterday Elwin spent Sunday with us. It wasn't his first time spending Sunday with me and my family, but it was a first that he went to church with us. I left with him the claim stub for mom's pants which she had altered at Magic Fit. Clumsy me, so boyfriend came to the rescue and got it for me at Ayala and got here early, before we left for church. We had my aunt's Fettuccine for snacks and we were off to church, Alliance of Two Hearts. we went on the afternoon mass since my mom wasn't able to wake up early, so it follows that I wasn't up early as well.

After church we went to Carmelite's and then to Ayala. Dad did groceries and Mom had her nails done. Elwin and I went to Taco's to grab some grub. Elwin was so sweet as to offer to bring my mother the food she ordered which was all the way down to the 2nd basement. I waited at Taco's all the way at 3rd floor and Holly arrived with her Seattle's Best food. Not later Elwin came back and we enjoyed the usual order.

We went around after eating. I thought of getting a DS for myself because I saw one in a cute blue green color and DS always struck me as a more kid-friendly gadget whereas PSPs are more for teenagers. But I'll still think about that, don't want to jump into something I know too little of. Also we went around looking for headphones for my sister and RAM for my laptop. Yes, I haven't yet got it, but mom gave me the money now. New RAM, real soon.

We had dinner at FoodChoices, the usual sizzling love. And then a bit more going around and Holly got new headphones, 600++php. Dad wasn't for it, but it was my sister's money to spend. After that, Elwin had to part with us as we headed down to basement parking. It was a pretty good Sunday. It's always a good day with Elwin, all the more with him plus my family. :)

Monday -- School just came too soon. Research1 was a less than 30 minutes and IT121 was a no show, after waiting 2 hours. Oi! Then OS was attendance only, and so I decided to ditch the rest of the day because of the 2-hour break and most likely no show teachers. It was not nice to leave Elwin in school, it would have been nice to just hung out with him since there was no class, but I was way too sleepy. Stupid me slept late again because I slept in during the afternoon. So there, also I though I'd be able to accompany my dad in bringing my sister and mom to the airport, but I just slept in again from around 1++pm to 6++pm. And now 11:20pm I'm still up. When will I learn? You tell me. :p

Mom and sister are off to Manila for my sister's interview tomorrow for a renewal of VISA. Please help pray she gets her VISA. I prayed hard that the interview will go on smoothly and that the Holy Spirit be with my sister and mother all through out. Now, it's in God's hands-- He'll surely now what's best for us all.

And an update on my flying off to States, I'm confused whether to fly in during summer or stay for summer classes and fly after. I'll surely have to prepare flying in Miggy. It will all fall into place early enough, I hope. Tomorrow another school day I will dread and am just not used to just yet. Oi! Physics, you are a prick.

So I rant a lot,

-pringles08

PS: Cheers to 2009 and hello to 2010. Let's make it awesome, ya? :) Happy lessed new year to all, may it be a properous year ahead for all of us.

My Year Ending Post.

[Okay, so I totally ripped off the title from Elwin's blog entry. HAHA.]

I rushed to Fooda to buy ingredients for Black Sambo dessert. I somehow kept calling it Black Samba. The grocery was packed and the lines were long, I see a lot of people were doing last minute errands as well. My sister and I finished surprisingly quick though. Thank God.

So while waiting for my mother last night to finish bonding with her friends, my dad, sister, and I were at Starbucks. I was scanning through Foodie Mag, the cookbook magazine and took photos of some ingredients. Culinary has always been close to my heart. I remember watching Rachel Ray's cooking show and others of the like. I remember buying the cute orange apron, that wooden chopping board, and taking a baking session at Caro and Marie. If only we had a better kitchen. Anyways, so I thought of making Elwin something for New Year. :)

I researched online the ingredients for Black Samba but mom said she had her own. It took time before she found it so we were able to go purchase the ingredients at around 3:30pm. Elwin was already on his way to our house. By the time he got to our house, I was done with one layer. But I messed it up! I didn't used hot water. Thankfully we had spare ingredients so I had to start over.

Elwin made Mango Float and he brought over some to our place. It was the best tasting one, no kid. :D Even Holly commended his Mango Float. I was still going nuts over trying to make the Black Samba work. I told Elwin to tell his family we just bought it, in case it tasted bad.

Mom said it was like we were exchanging gifts, him with his Mango Float and me with my Black Samba. My Black Samba however was far from perfect. The taste of his Mango Float was delectable.

So I'm thankful Elwin had dinner over at our place with my dad, mom, sister, and three aunts (goco, saco, laku). I couldn't imagine any better way of spending our last dinner for the year 2009.

2009 was full of ups and downs. I enrolled in three different Universities for this year, took and entrance exam 4 times, went out and open to my family about my relationship with Elwin, had Phoebe as an addition to our family and keep Miggy company, met up with old friends (elementary and high school), and faced new challenges like enrolling without my dad and going around downtown on my own. So I guessed I can say I'm a bit more independent than I used to be. I'm not fully there yet, but I'm surely getting their.

Cheers to 2009, for the blessings, the challenges, the friends, family, dramas, and all others.
Let's usher in 2010 with a big smile on or face, a heart full of love and hope, and with the belief that things will only get better. God has a lot of great plans for each of us this 2010, I believe.

Thankful for 2009 and all the more for the coming 2010,
-pringles08

Out With the Siblings

So yesterday I was finally able to go malling with Elwin's little siblings. I haven't seen them in the longest time. They rode the jeepney to Ayala Mall (I could imagine how that was for Elwin). And I went with my sister. We met up at KFC to grab some grub.

After KFC and Comfor Lounge, Holly separated with us to meet up with her friends. So it was me, Elwin, AC, and Yan2. We went to Metro Gaisano kids' department to buy AC and Yan2 Christmas presents. I bought AC a cute barbie purse which is all glittery and Elwin bought her a wallet. We already bought Yan2 his gift (boxing set thinger) so Elwin only got him 1 Pokemon mini action figure thing. Elwin was also able to buy something for his mami (grandmother). We bumped into Santa and took some photos of the kids with him. He was giving away candies. After that we bought stuff for Rhiann, our god daughter. We packed it and dropped it off at Shakey's where JR (Rhiann's father) was working at. We also had our snacks #2 there. Slush for the kids after their meal and we met up with Holly. Photos by the mall Christmas tree and they were of to go home. They were supposed to be home by 7pm but I think it went over 7. Cab Plate: GXK285

So after they left, Holly and I went around a bit looking for something to buy for dad. We bought mum a mug from Starbucks. We also gave her s Starbucks mug the last time. I think this will be more than the 5th time I'm giving her a cup or mug of some sort. She's just fond of those things. Starbucks also had Serendipity to serenade their guests for that night. As for dad's present, we eyed on a book and magazine. We resolved to Holly buying on the 23rd when she goes out with her friends, in case something better comes up. :p

So enjoy the photos that tell the tale:

KFC. Metro Gaisano. Christmas Tree.

Elwin's Blogspot

My boyfriend's blogspot account: Rants and Waves

Yehoo~ I'm excited for updates on this one for sure! :) I checked it out before I went to bed early in the morning. I wanted to comment but I can't seem to. =/

Anyhoo. I've got to get ready now. Off to Ayala with Elwin and his little brother and sister and me with my sister. I hope we get to do our Christmas shopping for the 'rents. And I hope we get to watch Avatar! :) If not today, tomorrow perhaps?

Two Books in a Row

For this month I've read 2 books so far. Both bought at PowerBooks, SM for 299php. :)

I really enjoyed the first book "Love the One You're With". Taught me about love, regrets, and commitments. In one line: "Love is a choice". It took me about 1-2 weeks to finish this one. My excuse: I had school to busy myself with. I even had only an hour of sleep on the last day of reading this book. Haha.

I quote from Emily Giffin's book:
But maybe that's what it all comes down to. Love, not as a surge of passion, but as a choice to commit to something, someone, no matter what obstacles or temptations stand in the way. Maybe making that choice, again and again, day in and day out, year after year, says more about love than never having a choice to make at all.
Basically it's about a girl who after 100 days of married life, bumps into her ex-boyfriend who she was totally crazy and obsessed with years ago. And then she finds herself in a difficult situation.

The second book was a thicker one, had more pages and smaller font size. But I managed to finish it in 2-3 days time since I didn't have school to bother me for the time being. It was fun to read. Basically it was like reading IMs, e-mails, letters, and post cards. It made me want to get back to e-mailing, sending post cards and stuff. The title of the book (I almost forgot to mention): "Love, Rosie". It was formerly published as Rosie Dunne. I loved every part of it.

The book was about 2 best friends, friends since they were five and they loved each other since. But their love remained unspoken of to each other for about 50 years. Every time one of them tries to tell the other, something comes up. They've been through a whole lot, but in the end- what was meant to be, was meant to be. Cecilia Ahern, the author of "Love, Rosie" was also the author of "P.S. I Love You". I really, really enjoyed the book. I felt the frustration Rosie Dunne and Alex Stewart felt. All along, they belonged to each other but they were both too afraid to admit it, they were afraid to lose the friendship they have.

Anyways, it's the Christmas break and Elwin told me to give the buying of book a rest for now. He is very much concerned with my sleeping so late. I love you with every bit of my heart, but I'll reason with him tomorrow. It's the Christmas break after all right? But I really should give that Java book I borrowed from Daren O. (Thanks Daren! You're a pal!) a good read to prepare myself with that particular programming language. But then again, it's the Christmas break! I think I deserve to be merry, ya?

Wedgy-by-golly

Okay, okay- so the title is cheesy/ corny. Forgive me. HAHA.

I bought these tonight (last night) at Celine. I was torn between this and the flats that were so cute. Sure enough, the flats were so ME. And I'm 100% sure I would have used it way more and it was cheaper- 999 and with 20% off, 799php.

I have been saying for months (if not years) now that I want to try on heels (or in this case, wedges) and be a bit more "girly". I have slowly been transformed into a girl- just not the full blown "girly girl". But for sure, I'm no longer the "tomboy" that a few people thought I was. I'm still pretty much one of the guys, in the sense that I really hang out with guys, not so much girls.

I am now wondering how long I will be able to wear this pair. A more proper question would be, how many times I will be wearing it. The last time I bought (and paid for) heels was for the last acquaintance party I'd attend at my former University. I paid a little over 1000php for those and only got to wear them once. Haha. My mom paid for this pair, 1039php because they were on sale- 20%. The Celine store on the ground floor of Ayala Mall showcased their old stocks and last pairs- hence, the price off.

Also when I got home and was on my laptop, I figured out why the shoes (wedge) looks familiar. It's similar to what I tumbled upon on Tumblr months ago. I liked it and saved it. The one on photo is better though, since it's no wedge.

I think I'll want to go back for the flats. Hmm...
Any guess on how many times I'll get to wear this pair? Haha.
Clearly I'm no fan of wedges- NO FAN.

trying to be girly perhaps,

PS: I switched from forspring.com to formspring.me. ;) And I was right! The first formspring last night was from my ever supportive boyfriend. :)

PSS: That dog up there is my beloved Miggy. :) I love him to death. He's so adorable. :)

33 Months

33 months == 2 years and 9 months.

I had dinner with Elwin today at Pizza Hut, Country Mall- just right across school. It was a simple dinner for two, his treat. :) Thank you my love. 33 months and still counting... I just feel blessed. It hasn't been easy (that is expected), but thank God we haven't gone through too much drama like the ones you see in soaps or you hear a friend of a friend is experiencing. I am weak at points Elwin is strong at and I am strong at points he much strong at, in short- we coincide and complement each other.

Today wasn't such a good start, although I got up early enough to buy a burger for Elwin at McD and made it to school in time. Our IT121 Lecture exam was about to begin and I skimmed through my notes, from the very beginning part of it and not so much minding the last few notes- BIG MISTAKE! He said study everything, but I didn't study at all. I was very caught into the book I am reading (which I can't wait to continue reading after this post) and with the Internet that I did not bother scanning my notes that night before the exam (or that dawn rather). Plus, I knew pretty well the things to do regarding HTML tables and stuff, I need not study- WRONG AGAIN!

I received the paper, I instantly feel my face freeze in shock, and my mind thought "OH SH*T!". The exam was about forms, basically ALL ABOUT FORMS which I haven't familiarized myself much with it just yet. He had just given that lesson last meeting- December 14, and so I thought it wouldn't come out of the exam. Day ruiner. Great. I thought of handing the paper to our teacher and exit. I can just easily take the exam next year along with the others who didn't settle their accounts with the school yet. His policy was no validated permit, no exam. I was hesitant though, cause I did have the permit and I thought of just getting it over with. I took the exam, with very little knowledge on forms, with erasures on my paper, although he clearly instructed no erasures, and with crushed confidence. I submit my paper and exit. I expect a zero.

IT222 was a good news since I didn't study that as well. My excuse- I left my notepad in the car, and it was too late to go down and get it. IT121 Lab was okay, although I didn't get to have the welcome function pop out. I copy pasted my code from the last exercise, which I wasn't sure was allowed. But he didn't say it wasn't and I wasn't hiding, I was at PC#1 which was near our teacher's table. All he had to do to see me (my back) and my PC was look over to his right.

English1R was a bit of a comedy. We were given the papers to answer and our teacher exited, leaving us to take the exam on our own and unsupervised. I was answering my own paper knowing others were copying. I remind them that if they copy and any answers go wrong- not my fault. Haha. I think there was only 3 true source of answer in our room- me, my 26-year-old seat mate, and maybe the 32-year-old married student nurse. The test was easy, and I hope we aced it.

I inserted a bit of research work in the middle, around 2:30-3:30pm. I met with my group mates as we rushed the parts we lacked. I was happy to get their text message confirming that we were able to pass our research work at around 5:00pm, while I was in my English1R class. I expected us to go all the way until 7:00pm just to finish but as always, God is gracious.

The day ended well as I stated earlier. Dinner with my boyfriend on our 33rd month together as a couple. After dinner I went with Elwin back to school. He still had to study for an exam. We stayed at the library, I was reading my book again: "Love The One You're With" by Emily Giffin, as Elwin studied for his exam later that night. Donjeb caught up on us. We stayed there until it was near 7:30pm, time for them to take their exam and time for me to fetch my mom.

I know I should be making that Physics assignment instead of blogging, facebook-ing, reading my book, but what can I say? I just DON'T LIKE (hate) PHYSICS, especially with a teacher who seems unsure of what he is teaching and lack of talent to convey the lesson effectively or in a more understandable manner. But he probably is a good person though, he seems nice, but it doesn't really make up for his being not-so-good in teaching. Plus, I'm so totally done Physics, were it not for the lack of 1 unit. Hopefully we get exempted soon.

Me and my rants.

Bottom Line: I LOVE ELWIN.
Highlight of the day: Isn't it obvious? DINNER WITH ELWIN.

I want to read my book now,

Surprise Desktop Background! :)

To be safe, credits to: JenniElfi

Thank you Elwin for such a wonderful surprise. :) I love you! :D

He said: "Check your e-mail."

Here are the calendar desktop backgrounds he made for me, I just added in the watermarks myself so explains why it's suckish that way:

Ain't he just artistic and awesome? :) I should show you guys his the rest of his artistic works, one of these days. Well, I'll be looking forward to monthly desktops from now on. Haha. Boyfriend, I feel loved. :)

Sweet it is to be loved by you,

Elwin's an Awesome Name!

I chatted with my online friend coincidentally named Hannah too (my nickname's Hannah). I met her on BlogTV over the summer or sembreak was it? I don't remember. A remarkable girl that Hannah, a very talented artist and a strong girl. Anyways, here's just a little some some to make my boy smile. :) BTW Hannah, not only his name is awesome, he pretty much is awesome in all sense. Haha! Thanks for making my night Hannah! I bet you'll make my boyfriend's night (or dawn) as well. :) I hope you blog soon. Also, thanks for encouraging me to paint, I'll hope I'll be able to do something about that over the Christmas break. Happy Holidays Aussie Girl! Take care.

Narnia

Narnia Book 2 is on Star Movies right now. c: Hoorah!

It's fiesta over here, but we never really make it grand or celebrate it for that matter. Today at lunch was the closest we had to celebrating fiesta, as I can remember. Dad bought lechon baboy and manok for lunch. :D yum! Gotta love being Filipino for that ;D being Cebuano! Mum and dad also gave the carpenters something to celebrate with, also our helpers, and of course our doggies. c: Mum says it's like a thanksgiving thing as well. It was a good lunch, we did feel blessed.

Right now I'm in bed, enjoying the show. I'll be hoping to see Elwin today, but no pressure on him of course. He wants to buy a fan cooler and he can't wait, which reminds me- I need to get my hands on a Java book.

Well, if this post does show up, it'll be the first entry through my mobile. God bless us all! c:

Thankful,

MEEBO

So I spent the whole day moving all my blog posts from different blog hosting sites to here. I was ranting on to my classmate Clyde Paronda, about how I have all these blog entries from all over- but I want to keep this one for a lifetime. He was the one who gave me the idea to move all my blog posts here. I've done that with my old multiply account to the new one, and now I've done it here as well. So don't be surprised why from less than 20 blog posts, I now have 91. x) And still counting since I haven't imported my Tumlbr blogs yet (I'm having second thoughts about it).

So I basically spent the day sleeping and eating- pigging out if you will. Supposedly, Elwin and I had plans on biking, but he had to attend to puppy buyers and my mom was considering going to church tonight instead of tomorrow (which didn't happen).

But I was productive though on the whole "transferring of blog posts". (Trying to convince myself :p haha)

Also, today I had the YM thing in my phone through wiFi hooked up and got it running thanks to Tech Kid's blog.

What made my day you ask?

Used meebo since my YM was being sucky and didn't let me log-in. Webmessenger now has a new name which is irrelevant since I can't find a way to YM with it either. So HOORAY for meebo!

Well, I'll be chatting on with my boyfriend now. ;)

Don't you wish he was your boyfriend? haha! I know a lot girls in our school wish that- but sorry for you all, he's taken. :)

Don't Kiss and Tell

Today started with me reading the newspaper. Poor Ondoy victims, I can't imagine not helping. Send in donations fellow Cebuaonos! :D There are a lot willing to help, a lot of drop off points for donations. It's really heart-warming yeah?

So IT126's suckish exam. Boo! I was able to answer part two of the exam. The first part, I only managed to write down the function header. 1 hour wasn't enough for that mind-breaking exam!

I spoke with Oliver today, I was like "Ollie, if ever, are you going for a third take on IT126? Cause I'm confused if I should just stop and go fly to the US or stay and continue..." he answered "This is my third take, next semester will be my fourth and yes, I think I'll be taking the subject the fourth time." (Okay so we spoke in dialect :p). Made me think a lot, it is only my second take, why am I so giving up easily? Others are on their fourth and fifth already but they're still fighting. I'd want to keep going, that's if my parents agree to me paying the school fees. I'll pray about that and propose to my parents the idea on Friday maybe? It's such a shame, I've been given the chance to retake it and it seems I still won't make it. I'm embarrassed, most especially to my parents.

Lunch with Elwin and a movie "There's Something About Mary". Romantic-comedy flick that stars Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller, 1998. It was a good one.

I missed group study at the library 3:30pm today, and to think I was the one who suggested it. Boo! I ran out of time, I wanted to catch up with dad at home.

We bought chicken at Talamban, silvanas at Tojong St. as requested by Lola, Coffee Dream coffees (using coupons), and McD take outs as requested by my sister Holly.
Dad wasn't in a very good mood since I didn't bring the car home in time, he used the Pajero instead.

Elwin had snacks with me and my sister on the upstairs' table. And not long after that we had dinner with the family. I love it when Elwin eats with my family. :)

We watched the news at the living room (during and) after dinner. Typhoon Ondoy really did a lot of damage! Let's pray that all will be well.

Stroll Date

I woke up to Elwin's call. I waited for him to arrive and we'd have lunch here at home together. The weather wasn't looking too good, but I showered right after lunch. It took me quite a while to prepare, Elwin said he had fallen asleep from waiting for me. Sorry. x)

So it was drizzling and we rode the jeepney to SM. We got to SM at around 2pm I guess. We were to make the most out of it, we had until 4pm since I have a 4:30pm Saturday class (IT32: Logic Design).

So we went around. And I went back to check out So Fab! shoe shop. My grandmother gave me birthday money last week to buy two pairs of flats we saw at that store. I went and bought the white Fabiola flats, I didn't buy the blue one with the same design even though my grandmother gave me money for it as well. No more size 8, so I settled with size 7- satisfied!

I had Elwin taste the ridiculously expensive hotdog sandwich from Monster Franks. I first tasted it with Mara, we shared on hotdog sandwich on Princess' graduation day. I think it was called Beef Frank, had onion, cheese, ketchup, mayo, mustard, pickle, and hot sauce. But I had my order done without pickles and mustard, extra cheese and onions. :) As expected, Elwin love it, but he hated the price though- 99php. We then walked to Taco's and I ordered a whole beef quesadillas and Elwin went at Liquidz to go buy our iced tea. :) It was a fun day just the two of us, enjoying our snacks. We clearly both missed times like that.

After snack time, we strolled around some more. It was all about me window shopping, apparently Elwin enjoy's seeing me enjoy window shopping. Sweet! I know, right? :D I'm happy. lol. I wanted to buy some accessories, but the ones I had my eyes on were pricey. Expression of the day: "Are you kidding me?!" haha.

It was 4pm and we went on a jeepney ride to Ayala. When we got there, we had to transfer on a different ride. We got in another jeepney, one that would take me to school when Holly called, she said classes were suspended and dad was telling me to go get in a mall. We hurriedly got down from the jeepney which was about to go already. It was very windy and the weather wasn't looking good. Leaves flew pass me, others without missing my face. We got in the mall safe.

We strolled some more, and to my dismay, my classmates said classes were on. Good news: exam got moved to next week, bad news: we had an activity, no make up for that one. Boo!

We strolled some more and I was able to buy a top from TopShop, 459php, Ewlin picked the color for me- pink. He wants me to wear the top on next Saturday's date. We also had Wild Rice. Elwin has been wanting to taste Wild Rice. We went around some more, I wanted to buy thick tights that could pass up as jeans, but I haven't found the right one yet. Elwin also tried on some gorgeous polo shirts, they didn't have his size though. I also bumped into Danica Sucalit in the dressing room. It was a bit awkward, she was carrying her baby and she kept saying to him "where's daddy? wehere's daddy?". I just heard from my dad that she now has a child (or so it's safe to assume).

Holly and dad picked us up at the Oh George pick up point. Holly had quite of a long day (afternoon), she wasn't in the best mood. x) But it was a bit funny. We gassed up and picked up mom, lola, and tita Inday from their novena thing and mass. Off to SM again for dinner at Chikaan. We saw Harrison Chiu there. It was nice to have dinner out with my family and boyfriend. :) We love the scallop at Chikaan.

After dinner, Elwin and I took a cab to McD I.T. Park to meet up with them Anne. When we got there, only Mara, Anne, and Fritz were there. Junel left to walk Princess to work. We went to La Marea for some dessert. Junel arrived after bringing Princess to work. We stayed a bit, had Brownie Cups and Sans Rival. After the chit chats we were homebound. Elwin stayed with Junel for a bit. Fritz drove Anne's car to main, to where his car was. He left with Mara and I drove Anne's car to my place.

It was a fun date with Elwin and a happy dinner with my family. It was nice seeing my friends for a bit. I am blessed, truly blessed. Thank you Lord.

Tumblr: Pringles08

So I've been away for a while. I've created a Tumblr account, Pringles08, and right now it feels as if I've been cheating my blog Haven (here).

It's tempting to blog there since it's so easy to manage and everything's just there. There's a tab for almost everything- quotes, photos, conversations, and all others. But I'd still love to keep blogging here. I have a more secure feeling with blogging here. I feel blogging at Tumblr is good for something short-term, but in terms of long-term plan, like really keeping my archives and saving each blog entries, I just feel it's safer here. I can't justify why, can't explain why, it's just how I feel.

So welcome me back my Haven! I'm coming home! :)

I'll stick to the original plan, I'll blog here substantially and blog for the sake of blogging over at Tumblr. I'd like to see to it that I have an everyday entry over at Tumblr.

Very tempting to move over there, but like I said, I feel more secure here, plus, I've made a commitment here. Check out my first blog entry for the said "commitment".

coming home,

PS: Boyfie has a Tumblr account too. :D wee~ I kind of have something to do with it. hihi.
PSS: I have a lot of blog entries to make up for. :) Want to keep those memories for future reading. ;)

4 Boxes of Pizza

I attended the seminar we were required to join, it was about System Dynamics. The speakers were Dr. Kwak and "Prof." Sabellano (Yes, Miss Sabellano was called "Prof."). All I really did was doodle.

After the seminar, I met with Elwin and we went to their place to get some Gotu Kola plants for daddy's pond. On the way home, dad called up and told me Anne was over, that was a surprise.

So had lunch with Anne and Elwin. Mara was text messaging Anne and was inviting her over to main, and so we went.

At main we had ice cream and toured the Law Building (or what should appropriately be called the HRM Building). We watched basketball games there (around 3 games). The last game was what we actually enjoyed watching, CAS vs. COMMERCE. Sadly, CAS didn't bag that game, I expected too much. But it was a very good game though. Elwin was hilarious, I asked Anne to take videos of him watching the game while I was busy taking photos. x)

For dinner, we went over my place. Ordered 2 boxes of pizza, take out, at Gustoso's. It was fun and I was very comfortable talking to Mara's friends- Elvis and Fritz. It was the first time I've actually talked to Fritz, Elvis was over my house summer 2008. I'm happy to report that Mara does have good friends from her new course. We decided to order in 2 more boxes of pizza. Chang came over after spending time with his girlfriend and/or family. We had good laughs (especially me) and good talking as well. I really had fun, a different kind of fun but fun nonetheless. I'm also still smitten in a different way on a different matter. (Yesterday I was annoyed with this comment and private message from an old college block mate. Ugh.) *puts the thought aside* I can't fully put out details since my friends do visit this site from time to time. :D

I'm looking forward to what tomorrow holds. I might be revisiting my old school- Sacred Heart Scgool- Hijas de Jesus (formerly (and simply) known as Sacred Heart School for Girls). I haven't really gone back there since graduation, except to fetch my sister or bring her to school when she was still enrolled there, and to claim my yearbook. I can't wait to see the cheering competition with my sister and hopefully with some friends (I invited Mara and mentioned it to others as well, Elwin will have classes. Boo!). I honestly think our cheering competition is better than college's cheer dance competition, before during our time at least. And in the afternoon I'll have to somehow force myself to attend a Robotics seminar as it is required, 1pm-5pm. I already got out of the morning (8am-12pm) seminar on PhilNits because I submitted an excuse letter signed by my mother, stating that I'll be watching my sister's cheering competition- which isn't the whole truth though. I'm watching my sister's friends' cheering competition, it's almost alike right? Okay so they're not really the same thing, but I had to give a valid excuse. :p

After the seminar I'm hoping the get-together slash movie time with friends will push through. We'll see.

in it for the fun,
