I Gots Me a NEW RAM.

So I finally got my new RAM. I traded in new set of clothes for this baby, and it is well worth it. :)

While we canvassed, I settled for N*Genius (was that the name?) which sold the RAM I needed for 2300php. The store beside it at Ayala new wing- Thinking Tools, sold it for about 2500php plus 100php for installation fee. Gaisano's Interpace sold it for 2200php, but they were out of stock. I've heard PC Express is the cheapet but trying to check PC Express ot has been stalling me for well over half a month now, and so I decide to get it done with.

We were at a dinner party at Grand Convention and I decided to leave for a bit with my sister. We did it quick and we were out in a jiffy. The restroom visit just stalled us a bit. We reached the car when mom called, party was over and my uncle were taking them home. So my sister and I headed straight home, even if we were slightly tempted to stay behind and stroll around. But we decided to be good daughters.

My sister drove us home, her first without dad in the car. Just when we decided to be good daughters, we decided to disobey mom and had Holly drive. I think she technically said that I drive on the way to Ayala, and we were on the way home when she was driving. Haha. We got home, I saw my dad was smiling proudly as Holly parked her car. :) We told him not to tell mom. Haha.

So my 2 old 512MB RAMs were removed and were replaced by a 2GB Kingston RAM with 3 months warranty. The guy said he couldn't very well just "ADD" in the memory since the 2GB and the 512MB RAMs didn't have the same frequency. Sachie told me she had 2GB RAM "added" in. But that was months ago and the guy said my RAM is out of date and is about to be faced out. Oi. New technology every day! Sometimes I just can't keep up.

PS: I am happy to report it has SIGNIFICANT difference on the performance and I can use Photoshop now without having to wait for eternity for every action!!! Hooray~ Thank you Jesus. :] And thank you mother for this gift.

Out With the Siblings

So yesterday I was finally able to go malling with Elwin's little siblings. I haven't seen them in the longest time. They rode the jeepney to Ayala Mall (I could imagine how that was for Elwin). And I went with my sister. We met up at KFC to grab some grub. 

After KFC and Comfor Lounge, Holly separated with us to meet up with her friends. So it was me, Elwin, AC, and Yan2. We went to Metro Gaisano kids' department to buy AC and Yan2 Christmas presents. I bought AC a cute barbie purse which is all glittery and Elwin bought her a wallet. We already bought Yan2 his gift (boxing set thinger) so Elwin only got him 1 Pokemon mini action figure thing. Elwin was also able to buy something for his mami (grandmother). We bumped into Santa and took some photos of the kids with him. He was giving away candies. After that we bought stuff for Rhiann, our god daughter. We packed it and dropped it off at Shakey's where JR (Rhiann's father) was working at. We also had our snacks #2 there. Slush for the kids after their meal and we met up with Holly. Photos by the mall Christmas tree and they were of to go home. They were supposed to be home by 7pm but I think it went over 7. So after they left, Holly and I went around a bit looking for something to buy for dad. We bought mum a mug from Starbucks. We also gave her s Starbucks mug the last time. I think this will be more than the 5th time I'm giving her a cup or mug of some sort. She's just fond of those things. Starbucks also had Serendipity to serenade their guests for that night. As for dad's present, we eyed on a book and magazine. We resolved to Holly buying on the 23rd when she goes out with her friends, in case something better comes up. :p

Form Spring and Ay DJ!

So I just placed a form spring on the side, check it. Haha. 

Let's say I'd like to pretend that people are actually reading my blog. (Okay so I don't get that much hits, but still, people drop by for whatever reason right?)

I placed a form spring up for two reasons, 1: I love surprises, and it will be a surprise if I get any form spring back right? And 2: because I just want to talk. I'm a fairly friendly person. I've got friends online, some people from BlogTV like Hannah on my YM. Andrew from Canada and Len from Holland (was it?) up on my Skype. But I only really just IM with Hannah. Haha. I'm no freaky Internet-all-day, no-real-social-life, loner kind of person either, please don't be mistaken. So just for the fun of it, it's placed on the side there- my form spring. For the fun of it. 

So on another topic, I've been searching for this song I heard on MTV and MYX a couple of times, but I just really listen, I don't watch the music videos so I keep missing the title. It goes something like "Don't stop make it hot DJ turn the music up tonight blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah oo wo oh wo oh woah(2x)" Haha. I really sound pathetic now, but no one is really reading so why care? :p I still have my privacy. :) I'm still searching for this song... but for now, I'll just post up the song lyrics of "The Dedication (Ay DJ)".

First Post for "What I Wore Today"

* finally posted up something for the Flickr group I just joined in - What I Wore Today

Day started out with:
* dad asking me to take photos of this necklace that my Uncle Reuel wants to buy, uploaded it on my Facebook account
* prepared to go out
* went to church at Mabolo, San Carlos Seminary - if I'm not mistaken

We then had lunch at SM. Strolled around and went to Ayala after. Did groceries and I bought an eyeliner! L'Oreal, 395php. Holly went with her friends and we headed home.

Tomorrow we're having an exam on 2-3 Tree in our IT126 class. It's so clear to me that I won't make it, but I'm still hoping for a miracle to save me. Lord, help me.

Elwin also edited a photo of me, which he took from yesterday's date. :)

I love them hats :)

I should be off to bed in a bit, I'd still need to study a bit for tomorrow. Ever get that feeling that you're trying on something that you know just won't work, but you try anyways? Like the saying goes "In 20 years you'll regret more the things you haven't done over the things you did do." Try your best, so you won't regret. :)

First Day, First Sem 09-10

So I slept like uber late (a little over 5 am I think). I was up Twittering! LOL. Went and followed some celebrities and bloggers as well. Looking into learning something from them from time to time and getting hot topics to blog about from the celebs. I also am following Brandi Cyrus' blog now. She's a Christian too.

I lazily got out of bed and showered. Drove mom to her office, but we stopped by the bank first. I was early, I chose to be to saved on gas. Bad enough that I only have 1 class a day, all up to Saturday, such a waste of gas. Jeepney would be appropriate, but as most of my friends know, my parents won't allow that. After hanging out a bit behind my mom's desk, I decided to go to school early.


Today's first day outfit was:

Harvard Tee, straight cut jeans, pimples, and a goofy smile.

As I was approaching the school, seeing the outside filled with a lot of college students (and some in uniform), it was so much different from the empty school we've been going during summer and enrollment days. The new guard by the middle gate is friendlier than the old guard, we exchanged smiles as I entered the campus and he checks my ID and car baggage.

I was walking towards the new building, from the outside I could see how packed it was, students loitering here and there, long lines for admission, and freshmen who seem to be lost. I remember how intimidating my 1st year of college was. *cringe*

I went up the new place for all CS-IT-ICT-ACT students, the fourth floor Engineering building. Passed by the ramp and got an early morning exercise somehow, also "danced" with a guy for about 5 seconds- that was awkward. Up the fourth floor I met with Choodur, Sasis, and Manny. We sat for a while after that we decided to go to the SMED building to check on the dissolved subjects. And yet it was another exercise. Why did they have to place our department all the way up there? Even if it's temporary, it's such a hassle. But who am I to complain right? On the way there, the 1st girl friend I saw was Charina. Finally a girl with a familiar face.

We arrived at the department, and staff was not helpful at all. I wanted to enroll in German or French class but the scheds posted up were 06:30-07:30pm. I went in to ask for new open scheds on those subjects since it was adjustment week after all, and the scheds are probably shared and open already (open market). I asked and she said the scheds are as posted, if I wanted a different sched I'd have to go to the Language department at the Main Campus and have them open or share the sched. What a hassle! Obviously she doesn't want to help me. I mean there was a phone on her desk, can't she just pick it up and call them up? Unhappy with her reply to my query, I left the room. I checked the time, it was 9:40am. I was late for my 9:30am class IT126. I told Choodur and Manny we should head back, Sasis stayed behind with his girlfriend Josie.

Room LB485TC- the men's comfort room?! The last room was LB484TC and next to it was the men's comfort room. Weird. We went around the whole floor in search for the non-existent room. We even asked some school personnel, they had no idea either. Luckily we found a group of people (most from the lower year) hovering around a guy. He had the attendance sheet for our class! Attendance checked and nothing left to do in school, well except claim my admission. Line was very very very long, Noj was there and I talked to him for a bit. I decided I'd get my admission slip some other time. It was also getting hotter because it was very crowded.

I went looking for the Datalogics booth, it seemed so abandoned and was hiding behind all the other booths. Sad. Drove Manny and Choodur up to the CAFA building and then I was off to meet with Elwin at Cmall.

Matia's time! Ordered 8 pork barbecue and 1 chorizo, 7 puso. 2 barbecues we didn't finished and had doggy-packed. Added extra 10 barbecue for dad and Dereli at home, but turns out the already ate. Dropped off 4 barbecue for mom too before I headed home.

My yaya woke me up, and I asked her "Nganung imu man ko gipukaw?" (translated: "Why are you waking me up?") I thought it was time for snacks but NO! She said it was dinner time. I was asleep from around 3 to past 7pm. Wow. But that's not a real shocked though, to those who know me long enough. I'm a heavy sleeper.

dyed hair.

I dyed my hair willingly for the first time today.  The dye had to stay on my hair for about 3 hours(it stayed more than 3 hours actually).  Anyhoo, this was the result of wanting to try something new.  My hair was getting kinda boring and all.  My first choice was to cut my hair short. Mum and elwin didn't allow, and I am not really fond of short hair, I am not that fond of hair chemicals and all either.  In a dire need of change, I resulted to dying my hair today.  I am honestly nervous  of the outcome, which dad says will come out in about 3 days after the hair dye process.  Will it look bad?  Will it look weird?  Nevertheless, I wanted to do something new so badly, so I shall not regret doing so (although I might, I'll probably just deny it. haha.) anyways, a  preview on the hair's current color after the hair dye's current result:

On with the my  SUMMER PLANS:

• To do better at school.
• Dancing lesson (if we find time and one with an affordable fee)
• To learn how to ride a jipney.
  
• Learn how to cross the street without causing serious distractions to other people.
• To be more independent.
• To experience the main campus and all that comes with it. ;]
• Clean up my ruum (a plan postponed for ages now. lol.)

So this is my blog for today. 
The earlier this day was the pretty "usual" Sunday.
And oh yea, Holl bought DaVinci's Pizza , her treat. 2 boxes 198php each ;]
ditchie, hia choco, and I (got money form dad) gave 20php for drinks .
Late snacks at around 11pm. :]

ENROLLED WITH DADDY

  I think I was the only one who enrolled with my dad.   There were some though, two of them I think, who enrolled with their mothers.

    I was afraid to enroll with my dad at first because he's hot-tempered  and all, but it turned out to be a breeze , the enrolling thing I mean.  It took meeh half the day when others took whole day (Neil from 9-5pm).  I did however cry because dad kept yelling at meeh about meeh and my driving.  And he blamed meeh for leaving my sister's report card, it was needed for enrollment.  I don't think that was my fault though.  So as I drove from my old school, Sacred Heart School- Hijas de Jesus to USC Talamban Campus, I cried!  LoL!  But I am however grateful dad went with meeh, even if he had a very busy schedule and stuff, he accompanied meeh. 

     I am also thankful to God for the schedule I got.  Of course thanks to Baby Girl also, he helped meeh pray and he cheered meeh up.  my earlist class is 8.30am and my latest is 4.30pm.  The Lord is indeed gracious!  I prayed to have a class that will begin around 8am and end not later than 5pm, and I got my answer.  He is so cool. 

    Jeremiah 33:3 " Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."  Got this verse in ym today.   Just sharing.  I'll go to bed soon.   I have to wake up early tomorrow to have my iD picture taken and to enroll my sister, and go with my cuz to her school to settle some accounts.  Buhbye!

    And oooh.  In the end of it all, I am glad my dad went with meeh.  I am grateful to my earthly and Heavenly Father.

first skul day [2006]

  This is gona be a boring one.... well except maybe the ending... xD skip the first part... LoL!

    So we were back to reality again... ahahaha... well... just wanted to blog for the sake of it...

slept round 3am then woke up for skul... i had appetite for breakfast... ahaha and i usually don't eat  breakfast... i just drink choco milk every morning... but anyways.. so we got to skul just in time... our bodies [speaking for the rest of my friends too] felt knda heavier than the usual... ahahaha we were even more lazy than we used to be.... 

    well... across our classrum.. used to be an empty room... but now twas occupied by the 2nd yrs. because they got transfered for a reason we dunt knw... well... not everyone's to happy bout that coz we were use to that empty rum.. more privacy.. ahaha... 

    we wer given research works in algeb nd trigo today... well calculus actually... it's knda weird... we're lyk about to graduate... finish off with the last quarter we have left... and then we're free to go off to college... wooohooo~ others are saddened by this thought [yes it will be somehow sad..] but most of us just can't wait to finish highschool... we all do hope we graduate all together leaving no one... we'll have to work hard nd pray hard for that... 

    today wasn't that bad... except for that algebra quiz she suddenly gave... but hey, those things happen ryt? ahaha i;ll just laf bout it now and studeeh for the next quiz... xD oooh well~ shleepin late now agen coz i napped for lyk 2 hours... my mum ddnt agree to that bt i really had to take it... ahaha...

    well... things that is happening as i am typing i can no longer say.. it aint my secret to tell... but i gave this verse to a friend... ahaha scanned d bible pah to get it ryt esp the verse...

aint that beautiful?? We just have to trust the Lord and submit to His will...  everything will be alright in the end... as my good friend anney wud say... 'if it's not alright it's not the end, coz in the end it will be alright' or smething lyk that... well... the bible is filled with more of His great promises... ahaha it's so cool... by the way my sister said she'd come with meeh this friday to youth fellowship... nd next friday my cousin sed she'd come...  i hope they make it... well... i'll end it here...
